On May 10, 2022, at approximately 6:30 p.m., officers responded to the 5000 block of Ritchie Highway for an assault that just occurred. The victims stated they were walking down the street when an unknown woman assaulted the juvenile victim. The suspect put the victim in a chokehold, slammed her against a wall, and began strangling her. The parties do not know each other, and the suspect's motive is unknown. The suspect was arrested and charged accordingly.
