Attempted Home Invasion / Glen Burnie

On May 12, 2020 at approximately 12:45 a.m. officers responded for an attempted home invasion in the 100 block of Margate Drive in Glen Burnie. A male resident heard someone open his screen door. Upon checking the door, an unknown male suspect entered the home, displayed a handgun and announced a robbery. The victim was able to push the suspect out of the house after a short struggle. The suspect then fled. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
