Assault; CDS Violation (Arrest) / Pasadena

On May 12, 2020 at approximately 11:00 p.m., responded to the 7800 block of Levy Court for an assault. Officers arrived and separated the two parties involved. One of the individuals involved then attempted to flee, discarding four clear plastic bags as he ran. Officers quickly apprehended him. Two of the bags contained a total of 91 gel-caps of suspected heroin/fentanyl (39.51 grams), one bag contained a large amount of unused gel-caps, and the third contained a bulk quantity of suspected marijuana (12.40 grams). An additional bag with 24 gel-caps of suspected heroin/fentanyl (10.77 grams), a bag of cocaine (1.19 grams) and packaging material were located with the suspect’s belongings. The suspect was arrested and charged accordingly.

Stabbing / Brooklyn

On May 12, 2020 at approximately 8:30 p.m., officers responded to the Sleep Inn and Suites located at 6055 Belle Grove Road in Brooklyn for a report of a stabbing. During an argument the suspect produced a knife and stabbed the victim in the upper body area. The suspect then fled the scene. Through investigation, officers were able to develop a suspect. Charges are pending. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and refused treatment at the scene. Detectives believe this to be a targeted incident and not a random act of violence. The name of the suspect will be released upon arrest.

Theft from Auto (Arrest) / Gambrills

On May 13, 2020 at approximately 12:45 a.m., an officer was on patrol in the 2500 block of Symphony Lane when he observed a vehicle with it’s doors open. He made contact with the vehicle owner who stated that someone had stolen items from her vehicle. Officers searched the area and located a suspect hiding in the bushes nearby. The suspect attempted to flee but was quickly apprehended. The subject was in possession of items that were stolen from the victim’s vehicle. He had a small amount of suspected marijuana and “crack” cocaine in his possession as well. The subject was arrested and charged.
