Commercial & Bank Robbery Unit Arrests

 

Through investigation, robbery detectives determined the same suspect was involved in the below three robberies. Detectives were able to positively identify Christopher Haarhoff as that suspect. 

 

Haarhoff has been charged with the below three cases. These are still active investigations, and detectives are asking that anyone with additional information, please contact the Robbery Unit at 410-222-4720 or the TipLine 410-222-4700

 

 

Northern District

Commercial Robbery / Linthicum

20-714720

 

On May 10, 2020 at approximately 3:00 a.m. officers responded to the Dash-In/Shell Station for a robbery that just occurred. Two white males entered the establishment, implied a weapon and demanded cash and property from the store. The clerk complied and the suspects fled the scene. There were no injuries reported in this incident and anyone with any information is asked to call the Robbery Unit at 410-222-4720 or the TipLine 410-222-4700.

 

Suspects:

1) White male, 30-35 years of age, tall, thin build, wearing red hooded sweatshirt

2) White male, 30-35 years of age, short, thin build, wearing gray hooded sweatshirt

Eastern District

Assault / Pasadena

On May 14, 2020 at approximately 9:20 p.m., officers responded for an assault in the area of Fort Smallwood Road and Energy Parkway in Pasadena. The adult male victim reported he was assaulted by an unknown black male suspect with a baseball bat. The suspect left the area in a white pickup truck. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries from the assault and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Southern District

Stabbing; Attempted Robbery / Annapolis

On May 14, 2020 at approximately 10:30 a.m., officers responded to the AAMC Emergency Room for a stabbing. A 41-year- old male victim stated he was stabbed by an unknown suspect who attempted to rob him somewhere in Annapolis. The victim did not provide officers with the exact location or any account of the assault. The victim suffered a minor stab wound to his upper body. Southern District Detectives are investigating and asking anyone with information to call 410-222-1960 or the TipLine 410-22-4700.

 

Western District

Shots Fired / Laurel

On May 15, 2020 at approximately 4:41 a.m.., officers responded for a report of gunshots heard in the area of Sudlersville South and Valley Lee South in the Maryland City community of Laurel. Several officers were already in the area on patrol and began to search the neighborhood. Officers located three spent shell casings in the roadway in the 3300 block of Sudlersville South Road. Northern District

Armed Robbery / Linthicum

On April 27, 2020 at approximately 2:55 a.m. officers responded to an armed robbery at the 7-11 store located at 1595 W. Nursery Road in Linthicum. A store employee stated two suspects entered the store, implied a handgun, and demanded currency and cigarettes. The suspects then fled from the store. There were no injuries. 

 

Suspect 1: Black male wearing dark clothing 

Suspect 2: White male wearing dark clothing

Northern District

Commercial Armed Robbery / Brooklyn Park

On April 11, 2020 at approximately 12:45 p.m. officers responded for an armed robbery at the Little Casears located at 5636 Ritchie Highway. Two unknown male suspects entered the business and one displayed an airsoft/BB gun and demanded cash from the register. The suspects also demanded and took a personal property from the cashier. The victims complied and the suspects fled the scene in an unknown vehicle. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the vehicle or suspects.
