Northern District
Weapons Offense/CDS Possession - Brooklyn

On May 15, 2022, at approximately 10:40 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop of a gold 2001 Jeep Cherokee in the area of Walton Avenue and Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn. Upon approaching the vehicle, the officer observed suspected CDS inside the vehicle. A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of two jars containing suspected marijuana weighing approximately 941 grams, a black 9 mm handgun, four pills of suspected Tramadol, and $504 in U.S. currency. The driver was arrested and charged accordingly.

Strong Arm Robbery - Millersville

On May 15, 2022, at approximately 5:30 p.m., officers responded for a strong-arm robbery at the 7-Eleven located at 495 Old Mill Road in Millersville. The suspect, wearing a 7-Eleven employee shirt and a bandana covering his face, entered the 7-Eleven, walked behind the counter, and removed cash from the register. This occurred in the presence of the actual store clerk, who called the store’s owner to determine the authenticity of the employee. After removing currency from the register, the suspect forcefully removed the store clerk’s cell phone. The suspect then fled with the phone and an undetermined amount of U.S. currency. Eastern District detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-6145 or the Tip Line at 410-222-4700. 

Suspect: Black male, 30’s, wearing a 7-11 employee shirt, white undershirt, dark pants, dark knit hat with purple effects. 


 

Western District
Robbery of a Citizen - Hanover

On May 14, 2022, at approximately 11:45 p.m., officers responded for a robbery of a citizen that occurred in the 7000 block of Arundel Mills Blvd in Hanover. The victims were approached several times by the suspects while walking in and around the mall. Once the victims realized the suspects were following them, they began running, with the suspects chasing them. The suspects caught up to the victims, and one of the suspects punched one of the victims in the head and took their property. The suspect showed the victim a handgun inside a backpack and threatened to shoot the victim if they said anything. The second victim was punched, pushed to the ground, and their property was taken. Western District
Assault / Severn

On May 15, 2022, at approximately 7:10 p.m., officers responded to the 8500 block of Pioneer Drive on Severn for a report of gunshots. An unknown suspect fired several shots toward a group of individuals.  Several rounds struck four parked vehicles, and one of the rounds fragmented and struck a 40-year-old male victim who sustained a superficial, non-life-threatening injury. The victim declined medical treatment. Five spent 9 mm cartridges were located in the area.
