Weapons Offense/First Degree Assault - Glen Burnie

On May 17, 2022, at approximately 1:00 a.m., officers responded to the area of Kramer Court and Crainmont Drive in Glen Burnie for a report of an assault that occurred earlier. During their investigation, officers learned several subjects arrived on location to participate in a pre-planned fight. One of the suspects produced a firearm and pointed it at a female victim during the incident. Eastern District Tactical Patrol Units responded and assisted with locating the suspects and the vehicle where the firearm involved was located. Two suspects were arrested and charged accordingly.

Weapons Offense - Severn

On May 17, 2022 at approximately 2:30 a.m. officers conducted a traffic stop of a white 2006 Nissan Armada in the area of Reese Road and Pioneer Drive in Severn. Upon approaching the vehicle officers detected the odor of marijuana. A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of 20 grams of suspect marijuana and a black 9mm handgun. The driver was arrested and charged accordingly.
