Home Invasion - Glen Burnie

On May 16, 2024, at approximately 1:30 p.m., officers responded for a report of a home invasion in the 300 block of Gatewater Court in Glen Burnie. The 18-year-old female victim was awakened by two armed male suspects standing over her. One of the suspects told the victim not to move. The suspects took several items and fled. A witness observed two males leaving the residence with a large trash bag and suitcase. The suspects fled in a silver sedan. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident. Weapons Violation - Glen Burnie

On May 16, 2024, at approximately 6:50 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop of a white 2010 Acura in the 8200 block of Oakwood Road in Glen Burnie. During the stop, officers recovered a loaded 9mm Glock 17 handgun and approximately 70 grams of suspected cannabis. The driver was found to have an open arrest warrant. Both occupants are prohibited from possessing firearms.

CDS Violation - Millersville

On May 16, 2024 at approximately 6:50 p.m., officers responded for a motor vehicle crash in the area of New Cut Road and Upton road in Millersville. As officers were responding, a caller reported that the driver of one of the vehicles fled into the woods with a book bag. Officers located the suspect and book bag, which contained approximately 147 grams of suspected cannabis, approximately 71 grams of suspected heroin/Fentanyl, a digital scale, and a metal grinder. The suspect was arrested and charged.
