CDS Violation / Brooklyn Park

On May 17, 2021 at approximately 5:30 p.m. Northern District officers observed a Hyundai Sonata with a tinted front windshield on the 700 block of Church Street in Brooklyn Park, MD. The detectives conducted a lawful traffic stop and made contact with the driver. Upon contact, officers smelled the odor of CDS marijuana emitting from the vehicle and observed a clear plastic bag containing CDS marijuana in plain view. A search of the vehicle revealed a black digital scale with residue, 8 multi- colored Ziploc baggies containing suspected CDS marijuana (26.95 grams), 1 clear plastic vial containing suspected CDS MDMA (.79 grams), 1 clear/orange glass vial containing suspected CDS cocaine (.97 grams),1 round green pill of suspected Oxycodone (.14 grams), and $889 in US Currency. The driver was placed into custody and charged accordingly.
