Robbery of a Citizen / Severn

On May 18, 2020 at approximately 6:45 p.m. officers responded for a citizen robbery that occurred earlier. The victim stated that he was hanging out in Meade Village and was attacked by an unknown number of males at the intersection of Meade Village Road and Meade Village Circle. The victim advised the suspects stole US Currency from him. The victim suffered minor injuries during the assault and anyone with any information is asked to call the Western District Detective Unit at 410-222-6155 or the TipLine 410-222-4700.

CDS Distribution Arrest / Severn

Officers were patrolling the area of Meade Village Road and Meade Village Circle when they observed a hand to hand CDS transaction involving a black Dodge Durango. The officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle in the area of Meade Village Circle and Meade Village Rd. While approaching the vehicle, officers detected a strong odor of marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. A search of the vehicle led to the recovery of over $1,200.00 in US currency and 147 grams of marijuana.
