Sex Offense Unit

On Monday, May 20, 2019, at approximately 7:15 p.m., officers responded for a sex offense that occurred in Glen Burnie area. An 18-year-old victim advised that she was walking along Rt. 648 near Scott Avenue in Glen Burnie when she was pulled onto a grassy area by an unknown male. The male attempted to remove her clothing, but was unsuccessful. The victim was able to flee the area.
 
Patrol Officers searched the area for a possible suspect but were unable to locate anyone. The Sex Offense Unit initiated an investigation into this offense. Detectives canvassed the area with flyers and checked for any possible surveillance systems which may have captured the crime. The suspect is described as a black male approximately 5’10 tall, heavy build, with “hairy arms,” and last seen wearing grey Nike shoes.
 
This has been and is a very active and ongoing investigation. Northern District
Tactical Patrol Unit
 
At approximately 12:20 am on May 22, 2019, Northern TPU detectives were conducting foot patrol in the Freetown area. They observed an occupied, running Honda Accord in the 7900 block of Liberty Circle; this is the home of Montrelle Musa, whom detectives knew had outstanding warrants related to a domestic dispute. They approached the vehicle and observed Musa in the passenger seat and Corey Sessoms in the driver's seat, who is also known to the detectives. Both occupants were removed from the vehicle and detained while the warrants were confirmed for Musa.
 
K9 responded to the location and had his partner, Maximus, scan the Honda. Maximus alerted on the vehicle and a search of it was conducted. Located in a compartment inside the vehicle was the following:
 
- 100 caps of suspected heroin ($10/cap)
- 100 caps of suspected heroin
- 44 caps of suspected heroin
- approx. 91 grams of crack cocaine
- 33 Oxycodone 10 mg tablets ($20/tablet)
- 39 purple baggies of crack cocaine ($20/baggie)
- 1 digital scale
 
Located in a napkin on the driver's side floorboard was:
- 2 caps of heroin in a napkin
- 4 purple baggies of crack cocaine
 
Sessoms was in possession of $963. The money and the Honda Accord were both seized.
