Commercial Armed Robbery - Hanover
On May 30, 2019 at approximately 2:30 a.m., officers responded for a commercial armed robbery at the Shell station located at 1356 Dorsey Road in Hanover. Three unknown subjects entered the business and one of them displayed a handgun and announced a robbery. The clerk complied and the suspects fled the area with an undetermined amount of currency. Officers searched the area however were unable to locate the suspects. The Robbery Unit is investigating this incident. CDS Distribution (Arrest) - Brooklyn Park
On May 29, 2019 at approximately 10:20 p.m., Northern District Detectives conducted a traffic stop on a black Cadillac in the area of Brookwood Road and Christian Road for a traffic violation. Upon approaching the vehicle, detectives observed drug paraphernalia in plain view in the vehicle passenger's possession. The passenger was arrested and the following items were recovered:
- 50 green zip-lock baggies of Crack Cocaine (11.80 grams)
- 7 capsules of Heroin (3.00 grams)

On Saturday June 1st, 2019 from 6:45 a.m. to approximately 10:45 a.m. be prepared for traffic delays on Route 450 (Ritchie Hwy) @ Boulters Way, and Route 450 (Ritchie Hwy) @ Naval Academy Bridge and Route 648.
Route 450 (Ritchie Hwy) @ Boulters Way and Route 450 (Ritchie Hwy) @ Naval Academy Bridge, B&A Blvd (Rt 648), Boulters Way and Winchester Road
On Saturday June 1st, 2019 from 6:45 a.m. to approximately 10:45 a.m. be prepared for traffic delays on Route 450 (Ritchie Hwy) @ Boulters Way, and Route 450 (Ritchie Hwy) @ Naval Academy Bridge and Route 648.
The traffic delay is related to a half marathon with approximately 3000 participants. Route 450 northbound will be split into 2-way traffic from Boulters Way to the Naval Academy Bridge. The Naval Academy Bridge will be metered traffic.
The race may affect motorists on the following roadways:
1. Route 450 (Ritchie Hwy) between Boulters Way and the Naval Academy Bridge north and southbound.
2. Route 648 (Baltimore Annapolis Blvd) between Route 450 and Greenbury Point Rd
3. Boulters Way between Route 450, Winchester Rd. and South Winchester Rd.
