On May 6, 2020 at approximately 5:20 p.m., the victim was at the Wawa located at 321 Busch’s Frontage Road putting air in her vehicle tires. While she was doing so, an unknown black male with dreadlocks wearing dark clothing in a black SUV or Pick-Up, entered the passenger side of her vehicle and grabbed her purse. The victim struggled with the suspect for possession of her purse. The victim was able to pull her purse away from the suspect who fled in a dark colored SUV or Pick-Up truck. Eastern District Detectives are investigating and are asking anyone with any information to call 410-222-6145 or the TipLine 410-222-4700.  

Suspect: Black male with dreadlocks, wearing black clothing a black mask and operating a black SUV or Pick-Up truck.

Assault / Annapolis

On May 6, 2020 at approximately 10:00 p.m. officers responded for a report of a trespassing at the Red Roof Inn located at 2520 Riva Road in Annapolis. Hotel staff identified the suspect in a vehicle. When officers stopped the vehicle the suspect was found to have an extraditable Florida warrant. The suspect became verbally combative and stated he had the coronavirus. He then started coughing in the face of the officer. The suspect was booked on the warrant and charged with assault, CDS paraphernalia, false identity, and failure to comply with the stay at home order.
