Northern District
Recovered Stolen Auto/CDS Offense - Brooklyn

On October 31, 2022, at approximately 11:00 a.m., officers responded for a complaint of a check vehicle occupied at the Las Esperanzas Cafe, 5725 Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn. Upon the officer's arrival, they discovered a male sleeping in the vehicle. Further investigation revealed that the vehicle was reported stolen from a neighboring jurisdiction. As the officers placed the suspect under arrest, he became disorderly and tried to pull away from officers and spat on them. The suspect was taken into custody and transported for processing, where he continued to act disorderly and spit. During the booking process, it was revealed that the suspect had provided a false name to officers and had three outstanding arrest warrants under his real identity. During an inventory search of the stolen vehicle, officers found a civil amount of CDS and CDS paraphernalia. The suspect was charged accordingly.

Northern District
Robbery (Citizen) - Glen Burnie

On October 31, 2022, at approximately 7:30 a.m., officers responded for a report of a robbery that occurred earlier in the area of Bruton Drive and Faywood Avenue in Glen Burnie. The victim told officers that she was approached by two black males who asked her to give them a ride. When the victim refused, one of the males pushed her, grabbed her car keys from her hand, and fled. At the time of the robbery, the suspects did not make any attempts to take the victim's vehicle. Northern District detectives are investigating the incident and ask that anyone with information contact them at (410) 222-6135 or the Anne Arundel County Police Tip Line at (410) 222-4700.

Suspect 1: black male, approximately 5’-06” and 180 lbs, approximately 14-15 years old, last seen wearing black sweatpants and a black hooded sweatshirt.

Suspect 2: black male, approximately 6’-00” and 200 lbs, unknown age, last seen wearing a black mask, black knit hat, black hooded sweatshirt, and black sweatpants.

Eastern District
Weapons Offense - Glen Burnie

On October 31, 2022, at approximately 9:00 a.m., officers responded for a report of an assault in the 7900 block of Nolpark Court in Glen Burnie. During their investigation, officers learned that the suspect had committed an assault and fled prior to the officer’s arrival. During their canvas of the neighborhood, officers located the suspect, who immediately fled from officers and was apprehended after a brief foot pursuit and was taken into custody. During a search of the suspect, officers located a loaded 9mm handgun in his jacket pocket and a second loaded handgun that had been modified with an auto sear (allowing the handgun to fire as a full auto). The suspect was arrested and charged accordingly.

Southern District
Indecent Exposure - Edgewater

On October 31, 2022, at approximately 7:30 p.m., officers responded for a report of an indecent exposure in the 3600 block of 2nd Avenue in Edgewater. The complainant advised officers that there was a female suspect who was exposing herself to and hurling obscenities toward children while handing out candy. As officers arrived, they observed the suspect standing near the roadway in front of a residence. Officers approached and detained the suspect without further incident. The suspect was arrested and charged accordingly.
