Citizen Robbery - Glen Burnie

On November 24, 2021, at approximately 9:30 p.m. officers responded for a robbery of a citizen in the 1600 block of Heathwood Road in Glen Burnie. The 75-year-old male victim was outside working on his vehicle when he was approached by two suspects. One of the suspects implied they had a handgun. The suspects then searched the victim and took his vehicle keys and fled on foot. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident. Northern District detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-6135. On November 25, 2021, at approximately 12:25 a.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop of a blue 2010 Honda Accord on Ritchie Highway and E 11th Avenue in Glen Burnie. The driver was found to have an open warrant and subsequent to the arrest, a loaded 9mm Zigana PX9 handgun and a small amount of marijuana were located in the vehicle.

On November 27, 2021, at approximately 7:40 p.m. officers responded to the Walgreens located at 6700 Ritchie Highway for a report of a robbery. An unknown white male suspect entered the store, implied he had a handgun, and demanded cash from the employees. The employees complied and the suspect fled. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident. Commercial Robbery - Brooklyn Park

On November 29, 2021, at approximately 2:30 a.m. officers responded for a robbery at the 7-Eleven located at 4000 Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park. One unknown male suspect jumped over the counter, displayed a handgun, and demanded cash from the register. A second male suspect removed merchandise from the shelves while a third suspect stood by near a customer. The suspects then fled. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects. On November 28, 2021, at approximately 7:30 p.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop of a silver 2000 Mazda on Hiden Brook Drive near Crain Highway in Glen Burnie. As the vehicle came to a stop, two passengers got out of the vehicle and fled. The officer observed one of the passengers holding a handgun. Other responding officers located the passengers nearby and found one of them, a juvenile, to be in possession of a 9mm Beretta handgun. The juvenile was arrested and charged accordingly.

Weapons Violation - Severn

On November 28, 2021, at approximately 4:05 p.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop of a black 2007 Mercedes sedan on Deerfield Drive near Pioneer Drive in Severn. During the stop, probable cause for a search was developed and a loaded Polymer 80 9mm handgun was located. The driver was arrested and charged accordingly.

On November 26, 2021, at approximately 6:15 p.m. officers responded for a robbery of a citizen at a business located in the 1100 block of Crain Highway in Gambrills. Two unknown suspects became engaged in a verbal altercation with a staff member. During the altercation, the suspects pushed the 25-year-old female employee to the floor and stole her wallet. The suspects then fled. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects. Western District detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-6155.
