Carjacking (Arrest Update) - Brooklyn Park - 21-739709
On November 28, 2021, at approximately 8:30 p.m., officers responded for an armed robbery at the Little Caesars Pizza located at 5636 Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park. A female suspect entered the business, displayed a handgun, and demanded money from the register. After receiving the currency, the suspect exited the store and fled the scene in an unknown vehicle. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. The suspect was described as a black female wearing a gray sweatshirt, black jacket, and black pants.
Through investigation, detectives identified the suspect and obtained a warrant for her arrest. On November 29, 2021, at approximately 4:30 p.m. detectives located the suspect during a traffic stop of a silver Honda Accord on Teague Road in Hanover. The suspect was found to be in possession of a loaded 9mm Sarsilmaz SAR9 handgun, believed to have been used during the robbery. The suspect was also identified as the suspect in the November 21st carjacking (original release below) that occurred in the 4100 block of Belle Grove Road in Brooklyn and was charged.

On November 21, 2022, at approximately 10:25 a.m., officers responded for a report of a carjacking in the 4100 block of Belle Grove Road in Brooklyn. The 21-year-old male victim met with an unknown female suspect to conduct a sale of a silver 2004 Acura TL. Upon completing a test drive, the suspect displayed a handgun and ordered the victim to step away from the vehicle. The suspect fled in the vehicle southbound on Belle Grove Road. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect or vehicle. Northern District detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-6135. On November 29, 2021, at approximately 5:30 a.m., officers responded to an intruder alarm at the Walgreens located at 7953 Crain Highway in Glen Burnie. Witnesses indicated three male suspects were using a van to ram the front entrance of the business in an attempt to remove an ATM from the premises. As officers arrived on-scene, they observed three males enter a white Ford E-350 and flee eastbound on Crain Highway. Officers pursued the vehicle through Baltimore into Baltimore County where the vehicle came to a stop on Dundalk Avenue in Dundalk, where the occupants exited the vehicle and fled. Officers apprehended one of the suspects and criminal charges are pending. Officers were unable to locate the other two suspects. The Ford E-350 was found to have been stolen out of Baltimore and was impounded for processing. Eastern District detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-6135. Attempted Carjacking - Annapolis

On November 29, 2021, at approximately 9:50 p.m., officers responded to Bayhead Park located at 1661 Bayhead Road in Annapolis for a report of an assault. An adult male victim and adult female victim were seated in the front seat of a vehicle in Bayhead Park when they were joined by three suspects. The suspects, who were seated in the back seat, assaulted the victims and attempted to steal the vehicle keys. The suspects fled but were quickly located in a wooded area by responding officers. The three suspects were arrested and charged accordingly.
