Serious Injury Crash - Linthicum Heights

On October 7, 2024, at approximately 4:20 p.m., Northern District officers responded to the intersection of Hammonds Ferry Road North and Ardmore Road, Linthicum Heights for a crash involving a motorcycle and a sedan. The investigation revealed a 2002 Harley Davidson Fatboy was traveling northbound on Hammonds Ferry Road North when it struck the left side of a 2023 Toyota Camry which was traveling west on Ardmore Road attempting to turn left on Hammonds Ferry Road North. The driver of the motorcycle was transported to University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center with life-threatening injuries, while the passenger sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Both were wearing helmets. The driver of the Toyota had non-life-threatening injuries. The crash is currently under investigation by the Traffic Safety Section.
