Shooting (Non-Contact) - Linthicum

On September 11, 2024, at approximately 11:20 a.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of Winterson Road in Linthicum for a shooting. The investigation revealed the 36-year-old male victim was involved in an argument with two suspects who were known to him. During the argument, both suspects each produced a firearm and one of the suspects struck the victim in the head with a gun. One of the suspects pushed over the victim’s motorcycle and got into a vehicle driven by a third suspect, who drove off. As the victim began to chase the vehicle on foot, he was shot at by one of the vehicle occupants. The victim was not struck by any of the projectiles. Officers recovered several spent shell casings from the scene.
Through investigation, detectives were able to identify two of the three suspects involved in the incident and applied for criminal charges. On September 12, 2024, detectives were able to develop information about the suspects’ location. A search warrant was executed in the 10,000 block of York Road in Cockeysville, Maryland, resulting in the apprehension of the three suspects involved in this incident. Additionally, detectives seized a loaded .22 caliber Phoenix Arms pistol, a loaded 9mm Walther pistol, and several pieces of ammunition.
All three suspects were arrested and charged in connection with the attempted murder of the victim, assault, and weapons-related charges.

On September 12, 2024, at approximately 5:40 p.m., officers responded to the 7500 block of Holly Ridge Drive in Glen Burnie for a report of a robbery. A 34-year-old FedEx driver was assaulted while delivering packages to a residence. No weapons were displayed. The suspect also removed the delivered packages from the porch and fled to the rear of a dark-colored sedan. On September 12, 2024, at approximately 2:25 p.m., officers responded to the 79090 block of Carriage Drive in Severn for a report for a robbery. A 51-year-old male delivery driver was dropping off packages for FedEx at a residence when he was approached by two male suspects who threw him to the ground and stole the packages. The suspects then fled in a silver sedan. The victim was unable to say what the packages contained. The victim sustained minor injuries from the assault. On September 12, 2024, at approximately 2:35 p.m., officers responded to the 1700 block of Leisure Way in Crofton for a report of a robbery. A male suspect, approximately 30-35 years old, brandished a black handgun and robbed the victim of his keys before fleeing on foot.
