Robbery/Assault (Citizen) - Hanover

On September 18, 2024, at approximately 4:35 p.m., officers responded to the 7000 block of Arundel Mills Mall for a report of a robbery that had just occurred at the Cinemark. Upon arrival, officers discovered two white male victims, one 19 and one 18, were involved in the incident. One victim reported a stolen wallet, while the other had been physically assaulted by three males. The altercation originated from a verbal dispute during a movie, where one of the victims directed racial epithets at the suspects, leading to the subsequent events. The victim who was assaulted was transported to the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center. The suspects fled the area. Western District detectives are investigating this incident and ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-6155.
