On September 23, 2021, at approximately 10:00 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop of a white Mazda on Mountain Road at Magothy Beach Road in Pasadena. Upon approaching the vehicle, the officers noticed the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. The investigation led to a search of the vehicle resulting in the seizure of a partially smoked suspected marijuana cigarette, a baggy containing a small amount of marijuana, a digital scale, and a Polymer 80 Glock style 9mm handgun loaded with ten rounds of 9mm ammunition. The driver was arrested and charged accordingly.

On September 24, 2021, at approximately 12:35 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop of a blue Honda Accord on 215 Street at Catherine Avenue. The driver, Treas, exited the vehicle as the officers approached and attempted to flee but was quickly apprehended. The driver was found to be in possession of a .40 caliber Glock 22 handgun loaded with 14 rounds of ammunition. Officers determined the driver is prohibited from possessing firearms. A vehicle occupant, King, exited the vehicle and was found to be in possession of 146.85 grams of suspected marijuana. Additionally, officers discovered 12.6 grams of suspected marijuana inside the vehicle. The passenger and driver were arrested and charged accordingly.
