Assault (Arrest) - Pasadena

On September 24, 2024, at approximately 10:45 a.m., officers responded to Rock Creek Park, located at 79 Bar Harbor Road, Pasadena for a report of an assault with a firearm. Officers learned that a suspect aggressively approached a male and a female victim in the park, demanded that they leave the park, and threatened to assault them. The 19-year-old male victim subsequently displayed a knife in an act of apparent self-defense. In response, the suspect displayed his firearm and pointed it at the two victims. The armed suspect was taken into custody, and the firearm was seized.
