Northern District
Shooting (Arrest Update) / Brooklyn

On August 7, 2020 at approximately 1:30 a.m. officers responded for a shooting at the Comfort Inn located at 6921 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard in Brooklyn. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was in a hotel room when he heard a knock at the door. When he opened the door, three unknown male suspects entered the room and demanded money from the victim. When the victim told the suspects he had no money, one of the suspects fired multiple gunshots at the victim. The suspects then fled. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Suspects:

1) White male, approximately 25-30 years old, thin build, wearing white t-shirt, dark pants, tattoo on left hand

2) Black male, 20-30 years old, thin build, wearing light blue t-shirt

3) Black male, 20-30 years old, thin build, wearing white shirt and blue jeans

UPDATE (August 26, 2020):

After conducting an investigation that included gathering statements and evidence, Northern District Detectives identified Kevin Michael McNally as a suspect in this shooting. On August 21, 2020 detectives conducted a search warrant at a residence in the 4300 block of Alan Drive in Baltimore where they located McNally. He was placed under arrest and charged accordingly.

UPDATE (September 3, 2020):

Continuing their investigation, Northern District Detectives identified Tavon Antonio Conner as a second suspect in this shooting. On September 2, 2020 detectives served a search and seizure warrant at a residence in the 3700 block of South Hanover Street in Baltimore and took Conner into custody. Conner has been charged with attempted first degree murder, attempted second degree murder, attempted robbery, assault, and other related charges.

Burglary / Baltimore

On September 2, 2020 officers from the Northern District were conducting surveillance at the Comfort Inn located at 6921 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard in Brooklyn Park/Baltimore. At approximately 2:50 p.m. detectives observed the suspect using a pry tool to break into rooms inside the hotel. Uniform officers made contact with the suspect and he was placed under arrest. He was charged with 1st degree burglary, 3rd degree burglary, 4th degree burglary, theft, destruction to property, and other related charges.

Southern District
DUI; Handgun Violation (Arrest) / Churchton

On September 2, 2020 at approximately 6:40 p.m. officers responded for a report of a suspicious subject at the Royal Farms located at 5573 Shady Side Road in Churchton. Upon arrival, the responding officer located the suspect seated in his vehicle with the engine running. The officer detected an odor of alcoholic beverage emanating from the suspect. The suspect failed to satisfactorily perform several field sobriety tests and was arrested. Further investigation resulted in the recovery of an unloaded 9mm Stoger handgun and a magazine containing 15 rounds of ammunition.
