Anne Arundel County Police Impersonation

On September 3, 2020 at approximately 7:00 p.m. an adult male walked into an Anne Arundel County Police station advising she received a call from “Stacy Brown” advising that she was with the Anne Arundel County Police Department and demanded he send money or he would be arrested. The potential victim in this case hung up and responded to the station. The call came in from a spoofed county telephone number. The Anne Arundel County Police Department will NEVER call you asking for money. If you get a call like the above, hang up and make a report. Shots Fired / Hanover

On September 3, 2020 at approximately 4:15 a.m. officers responded for a report of gunshots fired in the area of Ridge Road and Phil Mar Drive in Hanover. The reporting person heard several gunshots outside his residence. No injuries or damage were reported as a result of this incident. Handgun Violation (Arrest) / Annapolis

On September 3, 2020 at approximately 11:50 p.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop on a silver Toyota 4Runner in the area of Solomons Island Road and Harbor Center Drive in Annapolis. Upon approaching the vehicle the officer noticed an odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle resulted in a recovery of a Polymer 80 9mm semi-automatic pistol from beneath the driver’s seat of the vehicle. Also recovered from the vehicle was a plastic bag containing a small amount of suspected marijuana. A juvenile occupant of the vehicle was found to be in possession of a Davis Industries Model P-32 .32 Auto semi-automatic pistol on his person. The driver and juvenile passenger were taken into custody and charged accordingly.

On September 4, 2020 at approximately 1:15 a.m. officers observed an equipment violation on a vehicle and initiated a traffic stop in the area of I695W near the BW Parkway. When officers approached the vehicle they observed marijuana and a grinder in plain view within the vehicle. It was determined that the female passenger of the vehicle had a warrant through Baltimore City. Baltimore City responded and took custody of the female suspect. Once at Baltimore Central booking BPD officers located the following items in the suspect’s vaginal area: 34 containers of “crack” cocaine, 15 “folds” of suspected heroin/fentanyl, 7 capsules of heroin/fentanyl, 11 pills of MDMA, 6 pills that were non-controlled and 18 pills of an unknown substance. Both the driver (arrest warrant pending) and passenger are being charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Controlled Dangerous Substances.
