Project Description

This project involves two parts: 1) a study of existing conditions and recommending improvements in the areas surrounding 17 selected elementary schools in the County, developing a scoring system for prioritizing infrastructure improvements and educational programs, and developing a tool to track progress; and 2) student pedestrian and bicycle safety training in 8 of the 17 schools. Virtual public meetings occurred for each of the 17 schools. The schedule and links to the meetings are included in the PDF below, "SRTS Virtual Public Meetings - Schedule and Links".
