A public meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 6:00-7:00 pm via the ZOOM platform to discuss construction of a sidewalk along the southbound side of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard (MD 648E) between Southbridge Drive and Marley Meadow Lane. The work will occur primarily within the right-of-way maintained by the State Highway Administration (SHA) and includes widening southbound Baltimore Annapolis Blvd to 27' along with adding approximately 285 linear feet of curb and gutter. The proposed widening of the southbound was requested by SHA to allow space for an 11'-wide through lane, a 5'-wide pocket bicycle lane, and an 11'-wide right turn lane in the future.
