To meet the requirements of the NPDES MS4 permit, Green Branch of Marley Creek has been identified for restoration. The project proposes to restore approximately 1,600 linear feet of stream. The stream is located near Kramer Court in Glen Burnie, MD. BWPR staff will present the goals and plans for the project.

In its existing condition, this tributary is highly eroded and making it a significant source of nutrient and sediment loads to the Patapsco River. The primary goals of this project are to provide a stable stream channel that is well connected to a wide floodplain, reduce stream bed and bank erosion, and improve stream, wetland, and ecological function.
