Statemement from the County Council - March 27, 2020

Annapolis, MD (March 27, 2020) The County Council meeting, previously scheduled for 7:00
p.m. on Monday, April 6, has been canceled. All pending legislation will be rescheduled to a date to be determined. Pending legislation can be viewed on the Council website or by clicking here. Please continue to monitor the homepage for the County, the Council’s website, and all local cable television stations (listed below) for updates regarding rescheduled meetings and actions to be taken by the County Council.

Council Chair Allison Pickard offered the following message concerning the decision to cancel the April 6, 2020 meeting:

The County Council remains dedicated to keeping legislation moving forward and the public informed and involved. We pledge to share information about future meetings as soon as possible. The Council’s concerns regarding the impact of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on the health and safety of our residents and employees remain heightened. We ask for continued patience and cooperation as the Council works to prioritize and protect the health and safety of the public. All  Council  members  are  working  hard  to  uphold  their  duties  and  serve  their constituents during these trying times.
