Anne Arundel County is home to 62,900 Latino individuals, accounting for 9.8% of the total population. Some of the largest subgroups include Puerto Ricans, Mexicans, Salvadorans, and Guatemalans. This event offers an opportunity to connect and engage with the county's Latino community. This year's Hispanic Heritage theme is "Pioneers of Change: Shaping the Future Together." The theme beautifully captures the awardees' contributions to diverse sectors, all positively impacting our local economy, neighborhoods, and social tapestry.
