Amy Thomas joined the Ethics Commission in June 2023. Amy graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She holds a Master's degree in Human Resources Development from Towson University. She completed post-graduate studies in People Analytics from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business, learning how to use data to drive informed and ethical business decisions. Amy is certified in Mediation and Conflict Resolution. She began her career in public service as a Human Resources Generalist for the State of Maryland, where she represented agencies during ethics and administrative hearings. Amy continues to drive HR, culture, and change management initiatives as a Human Resources industry leader. Amy lives in Edgewater with her husband and two children. Amy is committed to creating a positive impact through local community involvement.
