Upcoming Tax Bill Information

Real Estate Tax Bills for Fiscal Year 2025

With the passage into law of the fiscal year 2025 annual budget and tax rates and fees being established, necessary information has been sent to the State Department of Assessments and Taxation (SDAT) for the new assessment file necessary to generated tax bills to be issued in July 2024 for the upcoming tax year that begins July 1, 2024 and ends June 30, 2025.  However, due to changes in SDAT’s procedures, we have been advised that the assessment file may not be provided until on or about June 28th.

While our office works as accurately and efficiently as possible, processing the file that is used to generated over 200,000 tax bills will take several business days.  As a result, our office currently anticipates real estate tax bills for fiscal year 2025 being available on or about July 8th rather than customarily being available by the first business day of July.

Our office regrets this inconvenience, but no delay is anticipated with the mailing of physical tax bills later in the month.  Tax bills will be mailed to the address of record per SDAT.  Property owners should still expect to receive them by about the first week of August and may contact the Tax Department if the yearly tax bill has not been received by August 12th.
