About the Park
Nestled within Lake Waterford Park lies a 12-acre lake, inviting visitors to indulge in shoreline fishing, experience the waterfowl, or embark on hiking adventures. The park features three pavilions, available for reservation to accommodate larger gatherings. Swing by the playground, perfectly situated amid the picnic area. Test your skills on the tennis or basketball courts, wander through the paved and natural trails, and have a meal at one of the many picnic spots. There is no entrance fee at Lake Waterford, welcoming all to experience the joy and beauty at the park.

General Park Rules
- All dogs must be on a leash at all times in the park.
- Alcohol, fires, grills, and balloons are not permitted anywhere in the park.
- All music must be kept to a minimum volume and amplified music is not permitted.
- Open 7 days a week from 7 a.m. until Dusk
- Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day
- Lake Waterford Park has three pavilions available to rent.
- Reservations must be made in advance.
- The Blue Jay pavilion (100 capacity) is located in the picnic area near the playground. The Goldfinch and Chickadee pavilions (50 capacity) are located near the lake in a more wooded area.
- Each pavilion has picnic tables and charcoal grills.

Lake Waterford Park is home to Freedom Field, an adaptive recreation complex. The adaptive recreation field features a multipurpose field overlay covered with a rubberized, wheelchair accessible surface. The field is utilized for Recreation and Parks adaptive recreation programs and accommodates a variety of activities, including baseball, softball, lacrosse, soccer, track and field, and other fun activities and events. The complex, surrounding parking areas and pathways are fully accessible.
