Project Updates

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Peninsula Park Beautification Survey. Recreation and Parks is incredibly grateful for the 330 responses received. The Department has begun reviewing the responses submitted for inclusion in Phase 2. The top three requests from the survey are 1) expansion of the walking trails (75%), 2) dedicated pickleball courts (54%), and 3) new pavilions (41%). In addition, Recreation & Parks will review the existing playground to determine if it has reached the end of its life span and needs repair or replacement and if additional play structures can be added. The survey results are posted at the link below. Please refer back to this page for additional updates related to the next phase of work.
