Agricultural Preservation Advisory Board

The Agricultural Preservation Advisory Board advises the County Executive and the County Council on the establishment of agricultural districts and the purchase of easements.

The five-member Agricultural Preservation Advisory Board promotes preservation of agriculture within the County by offering assistance to farmers for the purchase of County and State agricultural easements. The board also assists County government in reviewing the status of County agricultural districts and land under easement, as well as priorities for agricultural and woodland preservation.

The Agricultural Preservation Advisory Board meets four times per year. Meetings are not scheduled in advance.
