Ranger-led First Day Hikes Dates
- Saturday, January 4, Ranger-led hikes: Downs Park, Kinder Farm Park, Lake Waterford Park, Weinberg Park, & Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary. The time and meeting locations remain the same.
- Sunday, January 5, Ranger-led hikes: Quiet Waters Park, South River Farm Park, Bacon Ridge Natural Area Ranger-led hikes, and the self-guided hikes at Magothy Greenway Natural Area. The time and meeting locations remain the same.
The Anne Arundel County Council has adopted the 2022 Land Preservation, Parks and Recreation Plan (LPPRP). This plan acts as a countywide master plan for land preservation, recreational programming, park acquisition, and facility development.
