The Anne Arundel County Office of Emergency Management recently discovered an error on the Emergency Contact Numbers magnet distributed to residents at community events.
We sincerely apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
If you received one of these magnets, please be aware that the National Poison Control Center number is incorrect. The correct number is 1-800-222-1222.
We understand the importance of having accurate emergency contact information readily available. We are currently in the process of ordering updated magnets and will be offering residents several options to exchange their old magnets for new ones:
