This lesson focuses on fire science and cooking fire safety. Students will learn how fire works and the dangers of fire spread. Students will also learn how to keep themselves safe as they begin to cook on their own. This lesson may be taught by fire and life safety instructors or career fire personnel. Please note units remain in service. Emergency call volume takes precedence over any scheduled visit. Units may arrive late, leave early or be unable to attend due to emergency call volume. If a scheduled visit is canceled please call the public education office to reschedule.
