3rd Grade Fire Education

Lesson: "Home Fire Escape Plan"

A civilian within the Fire Department and Public Education Specialist, will give a thirty minute presentation featuring “Rainbow Valley Fire Department” DVD outlining a home fire escape plan.  Students will have the opportunity to ask questions and will discuss the drawing of a floor plan and identify hazards in the home that may cause injuries or burns. This visit will re-enforce fire safety practices that prepare students to live safely in their communities.
