The North Arundel Aquatic Center is an indoor facility that is open year-round. The center is closed on main holidays and may close during inclement weather. Areas of the indoor pools at times may be closed for programming or classes.

The North Arundel Aquatic Center offers an 8-lane 25-yard competition pool and a leisure pool. The leisure pool is a zero depth entry pool that includes three 20-yard lap lanes with indoor water park. The water park include a 134-foot water slide, splash down area, water buckets, preschool water slide, vortex area, and poolside spa for adults.
The facility has fully equipped locker rooms with coin-operated lockers. North Arundel Aquatic Center is open seven days a week, with limited water feature hours and daily timed swim sessions.
The Anne Arundel County Department of Recreation and Parks promotes health and wellness in our community through a variety of quality programming. At our two public indoor swimming facilities, Arundel Olympic Swim Center and North Arundel Aquatic Center, lanes are available for lap and fitness swimming. The facilities are handicap accessible and include fully equipped locker rooms with coin operated lockers. Youth 12 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult. All persons using the pools must be at least 3 years old and fully toilet-trained; swim diapers are not permitted.

Youth 12 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult. Children ages 13 to 17 may enter unattended, but will be required to sign in and provide emergency contact information.
Swimmers must be at least 3 years old and 100% toilet trained to enter the pool. No diapers of any kind. Individuals who wear diapers or are seen wearing diapers in our facility will not be permitted to swim. Removing a diaper will not allow an individual to enter the pool.
Children over the age of 3 accompanied by a parent/guardian of the opposite sex are encouraged to use the family changing rooms. All patrons are required to take a shower before entering the swimming pool. No street shoes are permitted on the pool deck. Appropriate family-oriented swim attire only. Towels are not provided, please bring a towel.
Children are not permitted to free swim in the lap pool. The lap pool is for approved programs only and for individuals whose sole visit is for constant exercise. Children unable to pass a swim test will not be permitted into the lap pool to swim laps.
