2nd Grade Fire Education

Each year since this program started in January 2002 teachers from classrooms across the county have invited firefighters to deliver our program to elementary students.

Lesson:  "What Causes Fire"

A civilian within the Fire Department and Public Education Specialist, will give a thirty  minute presentation featuring “Rainbow Valley Fire Department” DVD showing how fire starts and how to prevent it.  Students will have the opportunity to ask questions and how they can help protect their families.
