About Office of the Sheriff

The Sheriff’s Office is comprised of three bureaus: 

• The Bureau of Administration is overseen by the Chief Deputy and houses the Sheriff’s Administrative staff including Human Resources, Finance and Training.

• The Bureau of Field Operations is supervised by a Sheriff’s Captain who is responsible for the Warrant Teams, Civil Process Unit, Document Control Unit, Domestic Violence Unit, Communications Center, and K-9 Unit.

• The Bureau of Court Security is supervised by a Sheriff’s Captain who is responsible for the Transport and Detention Unit and the Security Teams.
