Cases

Karen Kamsch 14 year old female

Case Number: 2007-719714

Karen Kamsch was last seen sometime during the year 1976. She was not reported missing until May of 2007 when a relative contacted the Missing Persons Unit advising they had not seen Karen since 1976. She is missing from 51 Wishing Rock Road in Pasadena, Maryland. Extensive investigatory efforts have yielded negative results for any signs of Ms. Kamsch. The police investigation leads detectives to believe critical factors are involved in her disappearance.

James Arthur Cole 21 year old male

Case Number: 1994-713201

Mr. James Arthur Cole was last seen on 04/10/1994 at 2200 hours in a restaurant in Severna Park, Maryland. He was socializing with his brother, and afterwards left the bar alone and on foot. Mr. Cole would at times sleep in the woods. He did not make it to work on 04/11/1994 and has not been seen since the evening at the restaurant. The police investigation leads detectives to believe critical factors are involved in his disappearance.

Heather Jean Johnson 19 year old female

Case Number: 1999-740497

Heather Johnson was reported missing by her mother on October 13, 1999. She believed her daughter fell victim to foul play. Heather was last seen by her mother on 08/04/1999 and was being investigated by the Prince George’s County Police Department for crimes against a former employer . Heather Johnson has since been legally declared dead at her mother’s request/petition. The police investigation leads detectives to believe critical factors are involved in her disappearance.

Adam Shannon & Jason Shannon 21 and 18 year old males

Case Number: 2001-736526 & 748357

Adam and Jason Shannon have been located at the in-law family residence in Egypt following the missing report and confirmed by the American Embassy Personnel. Father of the Shannon brothers has court ordered custody in Maryland however the Egypt courts will not recognize the order and the Shannon brothers remained in the custody of the family in Egypt. Warrants are on file and active for the biological mother. Case remains open for NCIC purposes pending the return of the Shannon brothers to the US.

Robert Pete Underwood Jr. 47 year old male

Case Number: 2004-741874

Mr. Robert Underwood was reported missing on 10/11/2004 from 211 6^th Avenue in Brooklyn, Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Underwood was last seen at said address by his mother who urged her son to turn himself in to law enforcement as he had an open warrant. Mr. Underwood left the residence on foot and was not seen or heard from again. He frequented areas of West Baltimore. To date there is no further information regarding Mr. Underwood’s whereabouts.

Eugene Allen Sperry 36 year old male

Case Number: 2005-726215

Eugene Allen Sperry was reported missing on June 28, 2005 at approximately 1921 hours. He was reported by his sister who advised she had not seen or heard from her brother since May 23, 2005. Eugene was homeless at the time of the missing person report. Mr. Sperry was last seen sleeping on a couch in an alley near 8^th Avenue in Glen Burnie, Maryland. To date there is no further information regarding Mr. Sperry’s whereabouts.

Benjamin Gomez Sagun Jr. 42 year old male

Case Number: 2012-707070

Mr. Sagun was reported missing on February 26, 2012 by his mother who last saw him on the same date at 0630 hours. Ms. Sagun advised she found a note indicating he was leaving with critical factors . Mr. Sagun was supposed to be at church on the morning he was last seen, but never arrived. Mr. Sagun was operating a Chevrolet S10 Pickup truck when he went missing, and that truck or its registration has never been seen since the reporting date. To date there is no further information regarding Mr. Sagun’s whereabouts.

Lovelane Durren 22 year old female

Case Number: 2012-742721

Ms. Durren is believed to have left for New Jersey. Ms. Durren married an American and came to the US. Once in the US Ms. Durren left her husband of less than a month. Ms. Durren was located on social media sites and family has been contacted in Philippians but they will not disclose her location. To date there is no further information regarding Ms. Durren’s whereabouts.

Francis Smith 61 year old male

Case Number: 2013-716626

Mr. Francis Smith was last seen in the Bayard Road area of Southern District. He would frequently walk up and down Bayard Road. Mr. Smith has been reported missing on several occasions as he would be out in the woods. Mr. Smith has not been seen or heard from since May 4, 2013. Extensive searches have been conducted with negative results of any signs of Mr. Smith. To date there is no further information regarding Mr. Smith’s whereabouts.

China Fergus 18 year old African American female

Case Number: 2015-734076

China Fergus was reported missing on 9/5/2015. Fergus was a ward of the state residing at a group home in Harwood, MD. Ms. Fergus’ last known location was at Route 2 at Forest Drive on 9/8/2015. It is believed Fergus has fled back to her home state of Florida. It is believed Fergus may be operating under an alias at this time and is still in Florida. To date there is no further information regarding Ms. Fergus’s whereabouts.

Michael Dunn 55 year old male

Case Number: 2016-720151

Michael Dunn was last seen numerous times in California by police in 2013. His mother had been sending him money in California but he was reported missing by her in Anne Arundel County because the reporting party lives here. It was found that Mr. Dunn would travel back and forth to Mexico via Tijuana but no records can be developed through the border authorities.

Elizabeth Campbell 54 year old female

Case Number: 2017-711390

Elizabeth Campbell was reported missing on March 25, 2017 by her nephew. Campbell was last seen on/about March 15, 2017. On March 29, 2017 a member of Campbell’s family crashed her vehicle on Route 97 in Millersville. The family member was interviewed where he stated Ms. Campbell left town to an unknown location with an unknown new boyfriend. To date there is no further information regarding Ms. Campbell’s whereabouts. The police investigation leads detectives to believe critical factors are involved in her disappearance.

Luis Garcia-Torres 33 year old Hispanic male

Case Number: 2017-714074

Luis Garcia Torres took some money from the reporting party and then went missing and was believed to be going to California. Garcia’s vehicle was seen in Tennessee via a tag reader in 2017 but local authorities were unable to locate the vehicle or missing person. To date there is no further information regarding Mr. Garcia-Torres’s whereabouts.

Matthew Carrington 5 year old male

Case Number: 2017-707435

Matthew Carrington was reported missing on 02/23/2017. Carrington is the child of Andre Richards and April Carrington who were involved in a domestic dispute in 2013. Following the dispute the father filed for custody of the child and sole custody of Carrington was granted to Andre Richards on 11/11/2014 via the Anne Arundel County Circuit Court. April Carrington would not relinquish custody and was found to be living outside the state. In early 2017 April Carrington committed a criminal act against Mr. Richards in Alabama while Richards was in Alabama looking for his son Matthew. April Carrington was charged with the crime but would not disclose the location of Matthew. Matthew is believed to be with extended family in Alabama. Western DDU are the primary investigative units for the investigation.

Jose Cruz-Lemus 16 year old male

Case Number: 2017-717573

Jose Cruz Lemus was reported missing on 5/8/17 by his uncle. Mr. Cruz-Lemus was last seen on 4/24/17. Investigation revealed Mr. Cruz Lemus was turned over to the custody of his uncle in January of 2017. Jose Cruz Lemus then went to Philadelphia to live with other family, but to date there has been no confirmation.

Willy Raymundo-Gallego 17 year old male

Case Number: 2018-705666

Alex Jacinto Chavez Brito reported that his relative, Willy Jacinto Raymundo Gallego, was missing. Alex advised he last saw Willy at the residence on 2-11-18 at approximately 0900 hours. Alex left for work and upon returning home Willy was no longer at the residence. To date there is no further information regarding Mr. Raymundo-Gallego’s whereabouts.

Melanie Faith Meleney 45 year old female

Case Number: 2018-740848

On Saturday, October 13, 2018, officers responded for a missing person report in the 8000 block of Green Orchard Road, Glen Burnie, Maryland. Investigation revealed Melanie Faith Meleney was possibly last seen on the morning of Friday, October 12, 2018. On Tuesday, October 23, 2018, a citizen walking their dog located human remains along the shoreline in the 1400 block of Furnace Avenue, Glen Burnie Maryland. The Anne Arundel County Police Crime Forensic Services Section conducted DNA testing comparing a known standard from Ms. Meleney to the recovered remains. The DNA testing confirmed the recovered remains were that of the critical missing Melanie Meleney. The Anne Arundel County Homicide Unit is working with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the exact cause and manner of the injuries sustained to the remains. The police investigation leads detectives to believe critical factors are involved in her disappearance.
