About Samuel
Samuel Snead is responsible for directing and overseeing mobility management strategies for Anne Arundel County’s Department of Transportation. In this role, Samuel maintains responsibility for improving multi-modal transportation networks which include regional transportation, transit, traffic, bicycle, and pedestrian system for planning, coordination. Prior to joining the Anne Arundel County, Samuel held positions at Baltimore County, Los Angeles County MTA, Boston MPO, Arlington County (VA), USDOT, and the private sector as a transportation planner/engineer. He has received the highest honors from the Secretary of Transportation for his extensive experience with project management and has implemented innovative projects nationwide. Samuel holds a Bachelor in Urban Studies (Focus: Infrastructure) from Brown University, a Master of Community Planning from the University of Rhode Island, and a Master of Arts in Management from American Public University. He is an Anne Arundel County resident and property owner who is deeply invested in improving the way of life for the Anne Arundel County community.
