Annapolis, Md. (December 8, 2021) The Anne Arundel County Charter Revision Commission will hold two public hearings next week for the purpose of soliciting feedback on redistricting the County. The public is encouraged to attend and speak.
County staff will be on hand during both events to help with maps that will be on display. A Spanish interpreter will also be available. También habrá disponible un intérprete de español.
December 13, 2021 Public Hearing (In-person)
The first public hearing will be held during the Charter Revision Commission’s December 13, 2021 in-person meeting. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers located in Annapolis at 44 Calvert Street. Citizens may sign-up to speak beginning at 6:30 p.m. that evening.
Note: Masks need to be worn at all times inside the building.
December 16, 2021 Public Hearing (Virtual)
The second public hearing will be held during the Charter Revision Commission’s December 16, 2021 virtual meeting. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. and will be conducted virtually using Zoom. Note: When your name is called during the meeting, you will be allowed to unmute and speak. You may receive a prompt to unmute. The Commission will be able to hear you and see your name only.
