Kids' clothing is expensive, and when they are little (and even when they are big), they don't wear them for long before they need the next size. Now, the businesses who offer affordable options of gently used children’s clothing, can rest a little easier knowing they can afford to continue business in Anne Arundel County. Bill 71-24 came to me from two locations of Once Upon A Child (Gambrills and Glen Burnie). The second hand dealer requirements were costly and time consuming, just to resell used children’s clothing. In a time where everything is more expensive, it was a big win for the “little guys” and their customers. Thank you to my colleagues for the unanimous support of this bill.
