Monday, May 1 2023, officially kicked off budget season for the Anne Arundel County Council after hearing the proposed $2.14 Billion budget proposal from the County Executive.
Over the next 45 days the council will discuss and review the new fees, increased property and income taxes as well as the investments and expenditures for each department.
During our evening legislative meeting, we appointed the new Executive Director of the Police Accountability Board, Moyah Panda. Congratulations to Ms. Panda on this very important position within our county.
