Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County

CFAAC believes "one of the best ways to improve our community is by strengthening nonprofits doing vital, smart, and innovation work in our region."  The Nonprofit Center is pleased to be a partner in this work.

The Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County (CFAAC) connects people who care with causes that matter, and envisions a vibrant and generous community that comes together to enhance the quality of life for all. In 2023, they are celebrating 25 years as a publicly supported philanthropic organization. They sponsor a number of grant opportunities for nonprofits and award between 4 and 6 million dollars in grant funding annually. You can view the complete list of grants here: https://www.cfaac.org/grants.html.

CFAAC also manages more than 200 named funds and endowments which supports nonprofits all across the county. From the broad, like the Community Crisis Response Fund, to the specific, such as the Anne Arundel County Public Library Foundation Fund, these funds offer continual support to groups that serve residents across the county.

They also manage endowments for Anne Arundel County, including departments such as Animal Control, Fire, and Recreation & Parks. We thank them for their efforts to help us be The Best Place - For All!
