Project Description
This project is a result of the Department’s ongoing efforts to reimagine a section of South River Farm Park based on current operational uses and needs. The original masterplan for this Park was completed in 2018. Since then, the Department has found a new location for DRP’s Southern Park Maintenance operation to relocate. The Park’s existing fishing pier has suffered significant deterioration and handicapped accessibility and other operational challenges continue to impact the Park. These changes prompted the Department to re-engage the community to discuss the impacted section of the park.

Project Updates
A public meeting was held on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at Mayo Elementary School to discuss the development of a new Master Plan for South River Farm Park located at the intersection of Loch Haven Drive and Scriveners Road.
