Winter weather the past few weeks has not been kind, especially for businesses and nonprofits in flood-prone areas. For the first time, the Anne Arundel County Economic Development Corporation (AAEDC) is able to offer grants to nonprofit organizations located within Annapolis City limits to support recovery from recent weather conditions. AAEDC will accept applications for reimbursable grants up to $50,000 to help nonprofits and small, minority-owned, woman-owned, and Veteran-owned businesses recover from the damage and pause in operations sustained from the flooding event on January 9 and 10, 2024.
