First-Degree Assault - Pasadena

On January 30, 2023, at approximately 7:30 p.m., officers responded for an assault at a residence in the 8800 block of Fort Smallwood Road in Pasadena. The intoxicated suspect became combative with two people in the house when they attempted to prevent him from driving under the influence of alcohol. During the confrontation, the suspect struck the victims and placed one of the victims in a chokehold. The suspect was gone upon the officers’ arrival, but later returned. He was arrested and charged accordingly.

Robbery (Citizen) - Severn

On January 31, 2023, at approximately 1:45 a.m. officers responded for a report of a robbery that just occurred in the 8200 block of Severn Orchard Circle in Severn. The victim indicated that as she was walking from the area of the Orchard Food Market to her residence she was approached by an unknown male. The victim stated that the suspect placed a “hard object” to her back and said, “Give me everything you got.” When the victim told the suspect she didn’t have anything, the suspect forced her up against the wall of a building and forcibly removed a ring from her finger. After removing the ring, the suspect fled on foot towards Arwell Court. The victim described the suspect as an unknown-age black male wearing a black long-sleeved shirt. Burglary (Commercial) - Laurel

On January 31, 2023, at approximately 3:30 a.m. officers responded for an intruder alarm at the Gamestop located at 3475 Laurel Fort Meade Road in Laurel. When officers arrived they noticed the front door was shattered and the inner gate was damaged. The window to the adjacent Subway restaurant was also shattered. While officers were on scene, they were notified of an EMS call involving a male with a laceration to his hand. Officers responded to the scene of the medical call, and through investigative means, determined the injured person was the suspect in the burglary of the businesses. The suspect was arrested and charged accordingly.
