Do you enjoy nature, being outdoors, exploring nature, promoting cultural conversations and stewardship through volunteering? Volunteer opportunities exist for individuals, groups, families, examples of volunteer user groups: friends groups, Athletic Associations, schools, scouts, military groups, and community non-profits.

Join our team of dedicated volunteers providing in-kind services to support programs, projects, and events with Athletics, Trails Systems & Friends Groups at our Regional Parks, and Cultural & Historic Sites.

Mission

The mission is to provide accessible volunteer opportunities at parks and facilities for people to engage in public service while giving back to their community and enjoying the outdoors. Volunteer opportunities span leadership, recreation, parks, environmental stewardship, and cultural and historical conservation.

Vision

The vision for the volunteer program is to provide sustainable engagements and foster relationships with diverse user groups, public and private schools, for-profit and non-profit agencies, and individual contributions to recreation programs and parks.
